TAB @ Tennessee Theater, Knoxville, TN 2/28/10
Mr. "don't call me ginger" Anastasio brought his tour with classic TAB to an end last night in Knoxville. Sticking with the standard road-map, a solo acoustic Trey closed out the 1st set with some Phish staples. Strange Design finds a nice home in this part of the show as it seems to translate nicely to Trey's solo acoustic style. Although there is speculation of some yet-to-be-announced TAB shows (e.g. Jazzfest), TAB only has only one more scheduled show in May @ the 1st annual Hangout Music Fest. This festi has great potential, being directly on the beach, with a pretty fierce artist lineup. Only downside is the lack of on-site camping.
