Cactus' aptly named 'Mike Gordon Band' kicked off their mini-spring tour last night to a sold out crowd in Troy, NY. Mr. Gordon let loose on some old-faithfuls like Andelmans' Yard, Spiral, and Dig Further Down. The 2nd set kicked off with the debut of a Cactus original- 'Fire on a Stick'. Gordon also busted out a few songs from the Phish catalogue with Meat and a Sugar Shack Encore. All in all, Mike lead an impressive tour opener. Gotta love Andelmans' Yard....I can't get that bass lick outta my head!
