Yes, the rumors appear to be true. Save your stash of boomers and try not to eat all your molly because Phish will be releasing a full-length feature festival 8 film....in 3-D! While no official word has surfaced from the Phish camp, according to Bloomberg.com, the film is set to debut sometime in April. Perfect timing for phans to get back to sharing in the groove before Phish kicks off the summer tour.
Trey...in 3-D? I'm not sure my eyes will be able to handle that hue of ginger. Big Red's bobble-head will be floating in the middle of the theater. And forget about Cactus' neon tank-tops...I don't think the human eye can handle the intensity of "sunburst neon yellow in 3-D. It will most likely burn the retinas of phans' eyes across the country. I just hope Phish has some good liability insurance...
